About Kenton Karpets

Kenton Karpets is a family run business, with father, son, and daughter all working for the company alongside our other fantastic employees. We have been established since early 2000 and we are located in Westerhope which is very easy to access on all modes of transport.

Milestones

  • 2002

    Peter founded the company

    Back in 2002, Peter founded Kenton Karpets on Kenton Lane which is why the company is called Kenton Karpets.

  • 2006

    The company moved stores

    Peter decided that the store needed a larger warehouse and a better location, so moved the business from Kenton to Westerhope.

  • 2014

    Alex joined as an apprentice

    Peters son, Alex, joined the company as an apprentice, in the hopes that he could become one of the companies key carpet fitters.

  • 2017

    Alex became a qualified carpet fitter

    After a few solid years of hard work, Alex qualified as a carpet fitter, and now has an apprentice of his own to pass on his own knowledge!

  • 2020

    Amelia joined as front of house

    In 2020, Amelia joined the company to help with front of house, admin, and accounts. Amelia would do this whilst studying her AAT's.
